About Drop-In Support Groups

  • Open to family and loved ones of patients in the Capital Hospice program and to members of the community
  • No fee
  • Ongoing
  • Advance registration is not required
  • 8-12 individuals
  • Capital Hospice professionals trained in bereavement counseling serve as leaders. They can help to start conversations as well as answer questions.

About Eight Week Support Groups
The following support groups are free but registration is required and the number of participants is limited. These groups are designed for bereaved people whose loved one died at least three months prior to the first meeting. To benefit most from this experience, participants should plan to attend every session. Please call 800.255.3042 to register.
